    1. Three of the mental battles that are happening are with Macbeth and his hallucinations, with Lady Macbeth and her complaints about Macbeth's absurdity, and with the other Lords thinking about how Macbeth is insane.
    2. There were other options for him. For example, he could have just stayed in his castle and acted a bit more in self control. He could have also acted more courteous to the people. By doing so, he probably could have avoided war and probably make people change their minds about him.

  3. 1. When Macbeth has hallucinations, then when Macbeth goes crazy because the death gives him guilt, and when lady Macbeth complains about how Macbeth can't take charge and man up.
    2. There is always other opinions, but I think Macbeth couldn't take it. Anymore, because guilt gets to you slowly to where hurts.

    2. Alone at Macbeth's court, Banquo voices his suspicions that Macbeth has killed Duncan in order to fulfill the witches' prophesies. He muses that perhaps the witches' vision for his own future will also be realized, but pushes the thought from his mind.

  10. Macbeth faces the battle between the guilt of what he had done to Banquo and King Duncan, and the greed with which he coveted the Kingship. Another battle within Macbeth is about his uncertainty and fear about the witches’ prophecies about Banquo’s children overthrowing him and obtaining the crown, which he then gets over and becomes overconfident when he hears the newest prophecies. The third major mental battle is Lady Macbeth’s guilt about how she had become queen. Her guilt makes her unable to get a good night’s sleep and she sleepwalks in a death-like trance.
Macbeth killed Macduff’s family out of anger for going off to ally with Malcolm. There was no political thought that went into the act. His self-pride and overconfidence from the deceiving Hecate’s prophecies blinded him to all reason. Macbeth probably thought that there was no chance for redemption for him anymore and that he could ignore the repercussions of killing his cousins and countrymen in cold blood.
