    1. Yes it can, wanting something so bad may want us to go ahead and steal it from others. Usually this ca be out of greed or jealousy. Sometimes this can even lead to killing people just to get what the person wants.
    2. It can in most cases. Sometimes you may be counted as a part of the crime if you are way too close to the situation at hand. Other times you could be the witness. You may even be considered te blame for it all when you had nothing to do with it
    3. It usually depends. Sometimes self knowledge can benefit you and lead you to satisfaction. Other times self knowledge can lead to despair as you know something wrong is going to happen anyways.

    1. Possibly, when our kind have extremely want for something we can't gain. One of our nature, let's says greedy, will unconsciously lead us to do some crazy things. Such as giving up our other nature like kindness or friendly. That's because our most basic nature is selfish, for everyone.

    2. No, whatever how the illusion real is. Illusion is still fake. Our intelligent brain make us gain the ability to distinguish the reality and illusion naturally. It is even unnecessary to use your consciousness.

    3. No, self-knowledge is a way to check you problem by yourself. It do make you improve yourself, but it won't provide your satisfaction. Give an example, if a man always check and discover his disadvantages, how can he become happy or satisfied?

Yes. I think so because it's like putting your emotions before logic. Like if your boyfriend who seemed totally stable turned out to be an axe murderer...you'd have trouble believing it because of your emotions...or something.
I think in some cases it can. In other cases it could be your downfall.

yes, being to close to a situation can lead to a bias to help yourslef or the person in need. This is way courts do not allow people close the the person on trial to be on a jury
